Luben Arnaudoski – Deputy Secretary General for Legal and Financial Affairs

The Deputy Secretary General, Luben Arnaudoski, has rich experience working in Macedonian state institutions before and after independence. His first employment in the Cabinet of the President was in the former Presidency, in 1977, as an Expert Associate. Arnaudoski was promoted in his career, was an Adviser in the Cabinet, Advisor in the Presidency, Advisor to the President and Secretary of the Cabinet. In his long career, he was a member of many expert groups working on preparation and drafting legislative projects. Arnaudoski has accumulated experience participating in numerous conferences and seminars in Macedonia and abroad. He was also, regularly, a member of state delegations participating at bilateral and multilateral activities.

Ile Masalkovski – Deputy Secretary General for Organizational and Protocol Affairs

Ile Masalkovski graduated at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus I” in Skopje, Department of Political Science. In the academic year 2006/2007, he enrolled at postgraduate studies in Public Administration, Inter-Disciplinary Studies for Public Administration in Bitola. In that same academic year he was engaged first as a demonstrator and then as a teaching assistant for the subjects: Foreign Policy, Foreign Policy Analysis and Public Policy Analysis at FAMIS - Bitola. In 2009 he was employed as Head of Protocol and Organizational Affairs in the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Macedonia. He was appointed as Deputy Secretary General in 2010. He has experience of several years working in NGOs and international youth policy. He participated in many training courses, seminars in the country and abroad, as well as at the first “School for Policy” organized by the Council of Europe (2003-2004). He was Executive Director of the Civil Society for Democracy, Peace and Tolerance “Aurora” - Bitola and a Deputy Coordinator of the ECMI - Skopje. He is fluent in English and has a good command of French.

 

 

Colonel Vasko Gjurchinovski - Adjutant of the President of the Republic of Macedonia

The Adjutant of President Ivanov, Colonel Vasko Gjurchinovski, began his military education in the Military High School in Sarajevo, immediately after completing primary school in Tetovo, and graduated at the Military Academy in Belgrade. He graduated from the command staff college in the United States in 2002. Throughout his military career, he performed numerous duties as commander of a platoon and a company, deputy commander and commander of a battalion and a brigade, as well as numerous other staff duties in the special and mechanized infantry units in several garrisons and units in the Army of the Republic of Macedonia. In his military career, he has attended numerous courses and participated in military exercises in the Republic of Macedonia and abroad. In the period 2008-2009, he participated in the UNIFIL mission of the United Nations in Lebanon, where he was awarded the Medal of the United Nations. He is fluent in English and participates in all sport competitions and events. In March 2011, with a decree of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, he was appointed Adjutant of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Macedonia, President Dr. Gjorge Ivanov.

Darko Kostadinovski - State Counselor for Foreign Policy

The State Counselor for Foreign Policy, Darko Kostadinovski, is a veteran in the sector for foreign policy in the Cabinet of the President. First he held the post of assistant to the Foreign Policy Advisor in the Cabinet of President Boris Trajkovski in February 2001. From assistant position to the foreign policy advisor in the Cabinet of President Branko Crvenkovski in 2006, in his career, he was promoted and became Head of the Department for EU and NATO issues. Kostadinovski, has a Master degree in legal studies from the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius, in the area of international law. He is a PhD candidate in the same area, on the advisory jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice. In his CV also noted is the support to the development of the institutions in the Republic of Macedonia, as manager of the USAID project for preparation of the legislation in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia in 1998, and as an observer of a project for monitoring and analysis of electronic media in the Broadcasting Council. He attended many international seminars and conferences that promote and develop Macedonian foreign policy. He is the author of the book International Arbitration, published in 2008.

 

 

Ahmed Qazimi - State Counselor for Economic Affairs

Ahmed-Qazimi

The State Counselor for Economic Affairs, Ahmed Qazimi, is a postgraduate in economics, department of marketing-management at the State University of Tetovo. He is a graduated engineer at the Natural Sciences Faculty in Skopje and has completed a specialization in management, while at the State University in Tetovo he has received a pedagogical qualification. Before his engagement in the Cabinet of the President he worked at the Secretariat for Implementation of the Framework Agreement, where he worked as a State Counselor. Previously he has worked as an Energy Consultant in COFER (Council on Foreign Economic Relations), then as a consultant to the President of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, while in the period 2001-2010 he has worked in the private College “Yahya Kemal” as a Professor and Advisor to the Director General for Science and Education. He has published several scientific papers.

Luljeta Qufliju - Advisor on Inter-Ethnic Relations

Luljeta Qufliju has eighteen years of extensive experience working in various state institutions and NGOs. Her career began in the editorial board for culture in the Macedonian radio, its second program, within the MRTV, but at the same time she participated in many social and humanitarian activities. Upon completion of her studies at the Faculty of Pedagogy in Skopje, Qufliju also worked in the editorial board for culture of the daily newspaper Flaka. Luljeta Qufliju learnt the art of diplomacy working with international diplomats - representatives of many world organizations for many years. This experience goes back to 2001, when she joined the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje. During the many years of working experience with international organizations, Qufliju was engaged in the preparation of cultural and humanitarian events, and was actively involved in planning meetings and visits of important international and national delegations.
